Walter Beasley

Man today while going to the store I happen to meet my first ever baseball hero. His name is Luis Tiant. Now for those of you who don't know he was a great pitcher for the Boston Redsox. In fact growing up in Cali he and Tony C were the only players I knew from the sox but of course Luis was my favorite. The way he struck fear into batters by turning his head away from them and looking straight up in the sky before he let the ball go was amazing. I even called my little league coach in El Centro California Ralph Valdez to tell him about it. I am still so excited I can't sleep. You just never know what the day has to offer.
