Love is not what we say, it is what we do
I remember in school I had no money to buy the girl I had fallen for a present for Christmas and I had never purchased anything for a lover before. As the playing season around Boston was slow I asked a janitor if there was anything I could help him do as he was much older and had bad back problems. He said if I really wanted to help he could use some help late night cleaning toilets. As my love for her was deep I did not hesitate and I helped him clean toilets to buy the present. I bought a little necklace with peals inside and after a while of wondering why she never wore it she informed me one of the pearls was flawed and she was not going to put it around her neck. We wont go into the pain but you think about it.My Sister sent me a ring for Christmas and I know her salary and I know that the ring is probably not valued by many but I know what she went through and how hard she worked to buy that ring for her older Brother so it is on my finger everyday no matter what people think or say as I know from experience that Love is not what we say it is what we do.
