Health Care For The Rest
When you receive a call from a friend who is in distress and go to the doctor and find out that because of his financial status he has been deglected over at least a five year period by the system it really makes you frustrated and angry. When I cough (because of my insurance) I find myself in a tube, getting a tube of blood taken or blowing into a tube. Please if you have someone you care about who has basic insurance or no insurance, you must serve as an advocate for him/her. Go to the doctor if you can, call on the phone, let them know that someone gives a damn about your family even if they might not. I know this is different but this is life.Music, education, philosophy must take a back seat when it comes to the health of family and friends
