Proud

Though I am still undecided I must say I am very excited about this election. When I saw Obama standing with his family I felt very proud and excited. I wish my Grandparents were alive to see this. To know that a Black Man has inspired a movement that could change how we view each other and the problems we face as a nation is beyond words. I do not watch TV most of the time as the news and images are just terrible. I see some who share my heritage ashamed to align themselves with anyone or anything of color and this is hurtful to those of us who care about the future of our children and our communities. Mr Obama has given us a new reason to smile and say look what we can do, look what we can become. Ashram in India means small or large community. How wonderful to think that a man of color could inspire us all to think differenty about our community locally, nationally, and internationally,
